Story
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

It seems like the perfect job. Great wages, accommodation provided and all located within the walls of Highwood Hall, a stunning stately home owned by the Howard family. Not many little girls dream of becoming a maid, but this is an opportunity for me to get back on my feet. And for me to revisit my past....

Story
When a young man is found gruesomely murdered in a London houseboat, it triggers questions about three women who knew him. Laura is the troubled one-night-stand last seen in the victim’s home. Carla is his grief-stricken aunt, already mourning the recent death of yet another family member. And Miriam is the nosy neighbor clearly keeping secrets from the police. Three women with separate connections to the victim. Three women who are – for different reasons – simmering with resentment. Who are, whether they know it or not, burning to right the wrongs done to them.

Story
The world is suddenly thrown into chaos as a research project is sabotaged and the dead come alive to feast on the living - it seems like an old story, doesn’t it? The Apocalypse Crusade is not that book. You are not suddenly thrust into a world gone mad. Instead, you get front-row seats to how the sh-t went down. In real time you are witness to the agony and the horror…and the terrible stupidity that made it all possible.

Story
One day, on her way to a date, Isabella Huffington gets hit by a bike. What begins as a concussion with a diagnosed recovery time of seven-to-ten days becomes more than two years of debilitating pain with no apparent end and a string of unhelpful doctor and specialist visits. In the wreckage, jobs are canceled. Leases are broken. There is no second date. What’s left is Isabella, her body, and her pain. Because the source of her pain cannot be located within the body, she is told over and over that her pain is psychosomatic. And Isabella believes it, over and over.

What made the experience of listening to Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine the most enjoyable?
I am so grateful for the previous reviewers to have praised this book accurately. The main character is so enjoyable that just to follow her life was enough. There was no need for action or mystery. When the relevation of the book arrived, i was already carried away by the characterizations and the narrator. Well done
What does Cathleen McCarron bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is excellent

What made the experience of listening to The Art of Racing in the Rain the most enjoyable?
There are many things that stand out about this book. First the narrator is restrained and emotional and perfect. He carried me along with his wonderful voice.
The story told by the valiant Enzo is a fairy tale in that we suffer along with the main character, Denny, through everything bad that life can throw at him, but all comes right in the end. Loved it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Art of Racing in the Rain?
The ending when Enzo is dying. Such a magnificent performance
Which character – as performed by Christopher Evan Welch – was your favorite?
Enzo of course
If you could take any character from The Art of Racing in the Rain out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Again Enzo
