Welcome back to Carrington Cove. This book was amazing. I knew I loved Penn from the first book of the series, but wow.. he stole my heart. Penn and Astrid have longed for one another for so long, and you find yourself rooting for their relationship. Their friendship and the connection he has with her kids is beautiful. The audiobook was narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Aiden Snow. This was the perfect casting for this book. They captured Penn and Astrid’s personalities phenomenally. And the chemistry was on point. If you haven’t started this series, you need to 10 out of 10 recommend.

Back to Carrington Cove. I just love a series that makes you want to live in their Cove. We have seen Grady in the first two books and knew we love this grumpy sunshine. Scottie and Grady were friends growing up, both had bright futures in their sport, which pulled them away from eachother. Of course life had different plans, and years later, Scottie is back in her hometown and now she is a single mom. I love how their friendship just started back and led to a beautiful relationship. I got to listen to the audiobook narrated by Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor. This is a power duo. They did such a good job with these characters and bringing the story to life. Although part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

All I can say is WOW! This is my first book by J. Bengtsson and I am in love with her writing. This book is so much more than a rocker romance. There is so much storyline that had me in a grip and wanting so much more. This book had trauma, kidnapping, banter, chemistry, and all the spice. I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook narrated by Andi Arndt and Joe Arden. They both did a phenomenal job with how deep these characters had to go. Joe with his character of Jake and the raw emotions he had to portray, left me feeling all the feels. I can’t rave enough about this book. Such an incredible read.

When the prologue pulls at every heart string, you know you are going to have a special book in front of you. This is Book 1 in the series, and Harlow James started it off string. Get your tissue ready for Dallas and Willow. This book will have you feeling every emotion, and I was here for it. I was fortunate enough to get to listen to the audiobook. There could not have been a better pairing than Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright. These two did such a phenomenal job conveying the different emotions these characters were going through. This book and the narration deserves so much more than 5 stars. It will be in my top 5 for 2024 for sure.

Harlow James, Harlow James, I didn’t think the series could get any better. I am in love with Forrest. You get to see the raw emotions that make him so grumpy. Shauna and Forrest were high school sweethearts with a plan, that didn’t turn out. Years later, they have a chance meeting in Vegas. My heart aches for him when he runs into Shauna in Vegas and finds out that she is getting married. When she returns back to Newberry Springs unmarried, it’s her turn to try and win back Forrest. The chemistry is still hot as ever between the two. I loved this book so much! Angelina Rocca and Dane Anderson were the perfect duo for this series. They did such a wonderful job with all the characters. The chemistry between the two was off the charts. I’ve enjoyed listening to them.

Beautiful coming of age story. Will pull at all your heartstrings but ends beautifully. I can’t wait to see this on the big screen.
The audiobook is so good. Ruby Hunt and Andre Bellido did a phenomenal job. Listening to the audiobook I felt I was there in the story, beautifully done.

Welcome to Newberry Springs. Wyatt and Kelsea have been friends since early childhood, inseparable. That was until Wyatt went off to college. Fast forward he has a successful bar/ restaurant and Kelsea works for him and still in the friend zone. Wyatt is kind of forced to see what’s in front of him, and finally admits his feelings for Kelsea. But now Kelsea has a decision, just when she has decided to go and do something for herself, Walker finally confesses his feelings. Oh my goodness the push and pull but so worth it. I had the pleasure of getting an ALC narrated by Dane Anderson and Angelina Rocca. They did a fantastic job with all the characters in this series. This was a perfect duo match for this series.

I absolutely loved Walker and Evelyn’s story.
Walker has known Evelyn for awhile but didn’t realize he had feelings for her until it was too late, she started dating his best friend. Unexpected pregnancy and an unexpected death brought them together.
Such a beautiful story of loss, love, and forgiveness.
This is in the Newberry Springs Series but can read as a standalone.

I was given this arc for my honest review.

Update Audio Review:

What a perfect pairing with Dane Anderson and Angelina Rocca.

I thought reading the book was good, you definitely need to listen to it.

It’s amazing how these two narrators made each character very distinct and unique.

It needs more than 5 stars! Take me to Rosewood River any day. I absolutely loved Lulu and Rafe. From their first run in to the end the chemistry was off the page. What was suppose to be some pretend dates turned into so much more. The sibling banter again had me laughing. And of course we get some Beefcake. I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin. They did a phenomenal job with these characters. I love when the actors can make me feel like I’m in the story, and Sean and Vanessa are wonderful at that. Although this is book 2 it can be read as a standalone.

Welcome to Rosewood River

Laura has done it again with a phenomenal start to a new series. We met the Chadwick brothers when they made a cameo in Beating Heart. I knew then I would love them. Of course this book gives us all the banter between the siblings, but I lived for the banter and sass between Easton and Henley. I had the pleasure of listening to the advance audiobook. Narrated by Connor Crais and Andi Arndt, this duo did not disappoint. The duet style made listening it to it even better. They are both so good at their craft snd making you feel a part of the story. If this is the start, I can’t wait to see where this series goes.
