Couldn't get through this. Too much graphic sex on and on it goes. A yawn.

Honestly, I found it very dull
Reviewed: 02-13-16
What disappointed you about My Brilliant Friend?
The story line was completely uneventful, long and drawn out. I listened to it on a long flight where the entertainment system was not working. I was so bored by this book I fast forwarded chapter after chapter. It was such a well reviewed book, so perhaps I am in the minority, but I shall not be travelling back to Naples anytime soon.
Would you ever listen to anything by Elena Ferrante again?
Don't think so.
What does Hillary Huber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I liked her voice and she really kept me going.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No, sorry.
Any additional comments?
Won't be buying the sequels.
