Pip is not a detective anymore. With the help of Ravi Singh, she released a true-crime podcast about the murder case they solved together last year. The podcast has gone viral, yet Pip insists her investigating days are behind her. But she will have to break that promise when someone she knows goes missing. Jamie Reynolds has disappeared, on the very same night the town hosted a memorial for the sixth-year anniversary of the deaths of Andie Bell and Sal Singh.

Great sequel to GGGTM. Love that she includes a kind of recap of details from the first book. Love Jackson's writing style. Narrator was good but had a little bit of annoying voice for male characters. Looking forward to 3rd book!

Narrator's voice is very pleasant and soothing. Great story line and well written. Only negative is that one of the character's accent was not true to life. Otherwise, a great read I will recommend to friends and family.

Character development was good. Many times throughout there were situations and character points of views that seemed unnecessary. Ending not very fulfilling.

This is the kind of story you will measure others against. It took a while for me to find a story I liked as well as this. It makes you care about it's characters and has twists you won't see coming. Well narrated.

Story
No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen’s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan's most high-profile and mysterious buildings. As she gets to know the residents and staff of the Bartholomew, Jules finds herself drawn to fellow apartment sitter Ingrid. When Ingrid confides that the Bartholomew is not what it seems, Jules brushes it off as a harmless ghost story...until the next day, when Ingrid disappears.
