Story
"A truly touching work." This is the poignant story of a young girl, Arlaana Black, who grew up with a congenital heart problem in a family who loved her but were limited by a number of difficulties, including mental illnesses and early onset dementia. Her alienation and trauma were so profound that throughout her childhood she suffered from periods of feeling suffocated. Resolved to become happy and understood, she was ultimately transformed by her practice of Buddhism. As a result, Arlaana not only learned how to properly breathe but also found herself in the most unusual of circumstances...

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Story
If falling in love is the peak of human experience, then marriage is the slow descent down that mountain, on a trail built from conflict, compromise, and nagging doubts. Considering the limited economic advantages to marriage, the deluge of other mate options a swipe away, and the fact that almost half of all marriages in the United States end in divorce anyway, why do so many of us still chain ourselves to one human being for life?

Just another story of a housewife's life that eventually focused on the kids. Started to think that I couldn't care less about this book and where her daughter would poop on a long distance car ride.

Stephanie Grisham rose from being a junior press wrangler on the Trump campaign in 2016 to assuming top positions in the administration as White House press secretary and communications director, while at the same time acting as First Lady Melania Trump’s communications director and eventually chief of staff. Few members of the Trump inner circle served longer or were as close to the first family as Stephanie Grisham, and few had her unique insight into the turbulent four years of the administration, especially the personalities behind the headlines.

But offstage, Tovah struggled to fulfill the one role she never auditioned for: Lily Feldshuh's only daughter. Tovah shares the highs and lows of a remarkable career that has spanned five decades, and shares the lessons that she has learned, often the hard way, about how to live a life in the spotlight, strive for excellence, and still get along with your mother.

Too long
Reviewed: 06-28-21
I loved Tovah's narration but I found the book in general too long, Nothing much happens and I found out more about Tovah Feldshuh than I ever cared to know. She has a childhood, she goes to college, she acts, she gets married, has some children, more acting parts, complains about her mother, parents die in their advanced years. No highs, no lows just a life with some acting thrown in. My life is more interesting than hers!
