Story
When lonely author Autumn meets shy musician Bowie in New York, they fall head over heels and into their forever. But not everyone gets their happily ever after. Bowie has just six months left to live. And just like that, Autumn’s entire life has been rewritten. Embraced by his loving, unconventional family, Autumn returns with Bowie to England to live out the rest of his life by his side. But over the course of that summer, the decisions Autumn makes will help her move on, even after love and loss. Decisions, it emerges, that were orchestrated by Bowie before they said goodbye.

Story
Every girl dreams of the perfect proposal. And my boss thought it would be a ‘media moment’ if I proposed to my boyfriend, Rex, live on national TV. With everyone watching. Rex said no. Now I’m a social media sensation for all the wrong reasons and hiding out in Hawaii. But because the universe apparently hates me, so is Rex... with his supermodel new girlfriend! To avoid total humiliation I need to find my own irresistible date. And the gorgeous surfer who looks like he’s walked straight from the ocean and into my fantasies is the perfect solution.

But then she add over the top sex scenes that were no good and over the top. Then the cheesy ending stories of her next books. And ending with a chapter from a scene in the beginning and it added what? Just his side to a scene/chapter. Why wasn’t that as counter to her side at the time, made no sense to me, added nothing, just weird.

Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Story
If there’s one trait that makes someone well-suited to comedy, it’s being able to take a punch - metaphorically and, occasionally, physically. Told with a healthy dose of self-deprecation, A Very Punchable Face reveals the brilliant mind behind some of the dumbest sketches on television, and lays bare the heart and humor of a hardworking guy - with a face you can’t help but want to punch.

I really like this one, one ultra funny scene I plan on sharing. Lots of great characters and family scenes funny and caring, little bit of intimacy thrown in but not too much. Good narritor and easy to follow between characters.

Story
When Catherine Raven finished her PhD in biology, she built herself a tiny cottage on an isolated plot of land in Montana. She was as emotionally isolated as she was physically, but she viewed the house as a way station, a temporary rest stop where she could gather her nerves and fill out applications for what she hoped would be a real job that would help her fit into society. In the meantime, she taught remotely and led field classes in nearby Yellowstone National Park. Then one day she realized that a mangy-looking fox was showing up on her property every afternoon at 4:15 p.m.

Story
Posey Osterhagen can't complain. She owns a successful architectural salvaging company, she's surrounded by her lovable, if off-center, family, and she has a boyfriend-sort of. Still, something's missing. Something tall, brooding and criminally good-looking - something like Liam Murphy. When Posey was 16, the bad boy of Bellsford, New Hampshire, broke her heart. But now he's back, sending Posey's traitorous schoolgirl heart into overdrive once again.

Super bad sex scene
Reviewed: 02-18-24
Bizarre plot I thought was too much of a stretch but story/characters were enough to keep me listening. Rating would maybe have been a 3 but for the terrible sex scene I listened to,.. I skipped thru the couple others. Good thing they were towards the end or would have quit the story altogether. If you wait that long into a story it’s not really a sex book. Than why do such blunt and overly raunchy sex scenes! Could have kept with the light theme, done some nice foreplay and left the rest to imagination. But the jump was from sweet to ‘put 3 fingers in me’ was so unnecessary, didn’t seem to fit the story or the characters & it was not erotic just gross.
