Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I really loved the dual narration-female for all the female voices; Male for all the male voices. It was well done all around.

Love/Hate relationship with Sam and Nick
Reviewed: 12-23-19
Honestly, Sam and Nick get on my nerves. They are SO in love, so over the top with being in love. I love them. I hate them. And the whining about Nick being Vice President. I want to say just quit your job and do something else. Why is he even a politician if he hates it so much. I love Nic. I have Nick. I am invested in this series, but I don't honestly like them anymore. Sam is an arrogant police officer who only cares about NICK and her children. I don't like her as a person. So why do I keep reading these books? I hate Sam and Nick. I love Sam and Nick.

Love Julia Whelan
Reviewed: 12-14-19
How many different characters are in this book? Julia Whelan took on a difficult task and performed well as always. I loved her performance first and the story second. I loved the innocence of the story. Another reviewer described it as infanitle, like a child's fairy tale, well in the stressful world WE are living in right now, the sweetness of the story was a nice cleanse for me. So many books are just audio porn and lust driven, this one is not. Also, there is length to the story that I appreciate. I felt my credit was well spent. It's not a 7 chapter 3 hour listen. Sit back and give it your attention because there are lots of characters, settings, subplots, and more.

Read the books in order. I love the narrator, Saskia Maarleveld. I listen to a lot of audibles. I love Julia Whelan, Mary Jane Wells, and Keleo Griffith. Saskia Maarleveld is now on the favorites list. I was looking for something different as I waited for the next In Death Book. So glad I found this trilogy. The third couple reminded me of a grumpy Duncan McLeod and Eve Dallas. No nonsense couple. Good read, if other books have been read first.

I actually like that. It is interesting that although the characters are around the same age, they appear to be different ages in terms of how they are treated by the group. That was an interesting dynamic to me. I enjoyed the plot, characters, action, and surprises of each character. I have re-listened to the books multiple times. It was worth the credit IMO.

However, I enjoyed the plot, characters, action, and surprises of each character. I have re-listened to the books multiple times. It was worth the credit IMO.

Celebrated actress Scarlett Thomas never wanted fame - that was her parents' dream. Now she's ready to make big changes, but she never could have imagined how big those changes would turn out to be. Returning to the medieval Dunskirk Castle, where she filmed the Puppet War trilogy, she encounters an old Scotsman named Donell who directs her to an ancient claymore that sends her back in time to 16th-century Scotland.

Read the books that are male narrated
Reviewed: 04-03-18
It's hard to listen a male narrator do the female voices. My personal preference is a female narrator, but decided to give it a try anyway. The narrator is good, but just couldn't do the female voices in a way that was pleasing to me. I wish I had read the two books that were narrated by a male and saved my money. The other books in the series are narrated by a female who does pretty decent male voices.

Last book in a series
Reviewed: 04-03-18
I read the book before the listening to the book. I enjoyed the book; however, I did wonder how a narrator would pull off all the characters being together in one book. Not well. First, Hugh's name for Clare has completely changed in pronunciation. Emmy is supposed to be from Memphis, but has a now Scottish accent in the book. I loved the narrator in all the other books, but it seems like she did not listen to herself or review how each character sounded before recording this book. So glad I read the Kindle version first.
