Story
Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Sure, she was fired by her overly “friendly” boss, and yes, she still hasn’t gotten her mother into the nursing home of their dreams, but she’s healthy, she’s (somewhat) happy, and she’s (mostly) holding it all together. But when a mysterious SUV pulls up beside her, revealing Chinese cinema's golden couple Wei Fangli and Sam Yao, Gracie’s world is turned on its head. The famous actress has a proposition: Due to their uncanny resemblance, Fangli wants Gracie to be her stand-in.

Offensive Language - But Great Narration

Not a fan of the all to casual use of foul language. Unfortunately it has become so prevalent in our world today. The narration is very good and I think I would have enjoyed the story, I just couldn’t get past the offensive language.

Story
With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

The perfect voice to be Anne! No one could be any finer. Anne is the most precious character in literacy.

Tyler makes you feel deeply and long for his next word.

I stumbled across Chasers of the Light at Barnes and Noble a few months ago and fell in love with Tyler’s gift for using words to describe feelings I just didn’t think could be expressed verbally. I was in a rough spot emotionally at the time and his poetry soothed me. I had his other books on my radar and was thrilled to find Wildly into the Dark here on Audible. I have listened continuously all weekend and now mourn the coming of Monday morning, but he will read me to sleep tonight.
