Story
Stories brought us together. Books spread our ideas – and our mythologies. The internet promised infinite knowledge. The algorithm learned our secrets – and then turned us against each other. What will AI do? NEXUS is the thrilling account of how we arrived at this moment, and the urgent choices we must now make to survive – and to thrive.

A must read

I found it a super interesting listen , lots of things really provoked me to reconsider things that are so long truth to me , some changed by this book others I found even more rubbish then before .
I believe in reading books that totally go against what you believe just to grow .
What I did not like was the way he debunks the Old Testament ( for Jews en Islamic and Christian’s aswell as the new testament and any other religious books . He said that they are invented to control people if there is no god this would be the case . If there is a god who this is total nonsense . Christianity revolves around Jesus Christ ( historically fact ) and not de bible .
What he wrote about Jewish scribes that copied the Bible by hand and that every copy was different is the biggest ballony in this book .almost out of all the Old Testament books they found peace’s in the Dead Sea scrolls 20000 years old there are about 6 letters different from our ground text Old Testament today that didn’t chance the words they were in let alone change the lines they where in . To totally reject the Bible ( Old Testament ) on the basis of a view letters change in 2000 years is unheard of specially for a historian , completely biased . Today over 2 billion people believe in the Old Testament as a God given book and thus the truth . Saying that it did not work is dumb , how did it not work if still a quarter of the planet believes in it ( in God so to speak)anyways great listen

Story
The world’s greatest bodybuilder. The world’s highest-paid movie star. The leader of the world’s sixth-largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke, but this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger. And this did not happen by accident. Arnold’s stratospheric success happened as part of a process. As the result of clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity, and a commitment to giving back. All of it guided by the one lesson Arnold’s father hammered into him above all: be useful.

I liked mostly the positivity and the drive to help other people not in words but really helping people on on all levels and in any possible way .
I liked the overall story of his life , amazing .
But his heart for people and the wisdom in how he teaches me to be useful is triggering me to be more selfless.
Thanks Arnold you naild it

Story
In this audiobook, Dr Bessel van der Kolk offers a new paradigm for effectively treating traumatic stress. Neither talking nor drug therapies have proven entirely satisfactory. With stories of his own work and those of specialists around the globe, The Body Keeps the Score sheds new light on the routes away from trauma - which lie in the regulation and syncing of body and mind, using sport, drama, yoga, mindfulness, meditation and other routes to equilibrium.

This book seems to cover all for me . It helped me understanding myself and my trauma’s ( most of them little t trauma,d)
I think it is a must read for anybody who is interested in psychologie and trauma .
It is really well lived well researched and on top off the game and still easy to read as a layman.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow - and horror. As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling - and how their lives would play out from that point on. For Harry, this is that story at last.

Better then a script for a great movie
Reviewed: 03-14-23
I did not want to listen to this book and never have been interested in the British Royals leave alone the gossip about them .
Was intrigued seeing harry his face in every book store in the me 1 spot . In Schiphol AirPort etc .
I found out it was a bestseller of bestsellers .
It is a crossing between a fairy tail ( the ones that and up bad ) a action movie . I don,t mean fairytale in the sense that it’s not true but in the sense that no one can relate to such a life . I would recommend this audible book to anyone.
I wish for Harry en Megan that they make a film script of this story and earn millions more and get a life without being tormented by the press .
