Story
A world that had forgotten what violence was didn't know how to defend itself. City after city fell. Earth became a lifeless wasteland as the undead army swelled and crushed the humans like ants underneath its boot. It all ended at the last stronghold. Forgoing all hope for salvation, a handful of desperate humans realized that the only thing left was revenge.

Waste of time

It takes 2 hours for the Mac to decide on something. Then he vows to fight a god but is scared and nervous against kids? The story also takes its sweat time over explaining basic things. Not worth the credit.

Doesn’t stay focused
Reviewed: 11-06-24
I’ve listened for 7 hours and It spends more time discussing love interests and relationships then telling the story about an apocalypse and being teleported on a strange planet. So it’s like most books. If that’s your cup of tea then it’s a story for you, but if you want a STORY that’s focused then this isn’t it. Save your credit.
Narrator is excellent but it’s a shame he’s reading this book.

It’s like a Monster movie. 70% on human interaction 30% on monster. Horny teens and monster sometimes shows up.
Narrator is good tho.

He wakes up to a totaled car and a broken leg, facing down a goblin trying to spear him through the guts. And that's just the start of it. But to Zane’s surprise, he finds himself enjoying this brutal new world. While others cower and hide, he goes on the hunt. He unlocks a unique Berserker skill—the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets.

Not OP
Reviewed: 04-19-24
Being OP is someone who doesn’t struggle at all and all battles are trivial to the point of being funny. This is not it. MC is not OP because there are plenty who are stronger then him. Instead he is driven and focused and likes fighting and progressing. A good book.

It’s cool. The ending was predictable

A good story. The ending banter is mediocre and the side characters are basic. There conversations are really bad. Just skip it and it should be fine.

It’s a Good read. Drew me in as soon as it started. Narrator is excellent and really gives characters life and uniqueness.
The only flaws and it’s small, is get a better editor to cut out the long pauses and repeated sentences. It doesn’t ruin the book tho, so still worth the credit.
Can’t wait for the next book.

My only gripe
Reviewed: 12-02-23
I’ll be brief. Premise is pretty good. Basically solo level but waaay slower. My only gripe is that she is stubbornly naive, she tries to tell people that crystals are bad and people are monsters with no proof and get mad when no one believes her.
It’s really cringe and could have been written better. (Like solo level). That’s it. Everything else is pretty cool. It’s not a deal breaker, so just skip those parts and you’ll be fine.

This book mainly talked about boob sizes girls blushing all the time, how hot guys were, someone not wearing underwear and POVs of people that ramble on about detailed nothingness.
Also the dungeon core does nothing at all. Nothing amazing like the details in description says. She just tries stuff and it not working and the stuff she can make she talks about only to get shut down because it’s TOO strong.
I’m dropping this book and series now so I don’t hurt myself listing to this mess.
