Story
No one expected Ragnarok. The miles-wide meteor fell from the sky in 2030, taking most of humanity with it. The lucky ones took refuge in the Bunkers. The unlucky ones had to deal with the meteor's aftermath...and the alien virus it unleashed. Now, that virus is evolving, creating an army of mutants and monsters, mixing Earth genetics with something...not Earth. As humanity struggles in the wastelands of what's left, it might already be too late...unless a band of young heroes can rise up, and fight.

Story
Albert Jenkins never cared much for bureaucrats and politicians. So, when the Galactic Congress refuses to act on the illegal invasion of Earth by parasitic aliens, he does what any self-respecting vet would do - he steals a spaceship. But when AJ and a snarky pop culture-loving alien companion are pursued by space cops, he does the only rational thing he can come up with. He strategically crash-lands on a junkyard moon.

The alien spaceship was unthinkably huge, enormously powerful, apparently irresistible. It came from the void and settled on Earth, striking awe into the hearts of all who saw it. Its mission, however, was not conquest - but a call for help!

The story seemed promising. The narration was difficult to follow.
The narrator has a pleasant voice but seemed to whisper at inappropriate times and very monotone.

Gripping series
Reviewed: 07-13-16
If you could sum up Genesis in three words, what would they be?
After some "I am not sure about this series" Genesis has me wanting more. Interesting development and yes, even with humanity almost gone there are still power hungry, greedy characters. The world changes....humanity does not.....or does it ? I don't want to give spoilers
What did you like best about this story?
All character traits of humanity survive...
What does Emily Beresford bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Rich voice that brings the book alive
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I want more
