Story
Two neighbors - strangers - with one thing in common: they share a fence. But is that the only thing they share? Nathan Fraser lives a solitary life, never letting anyone get too close. It's safer that way. Kourtney Whyte hides from the world and behind her work, too afraid to really live her life to the fullest. Rejection is what she knows best. But one night, the sound of her soft voice and the tantalizing aroma of her evening meal prove too enticing for Nathan to ignore.

Loved the story from start to finish
Reviewed: 04-20-25
I loved how Nathan was so gentle with Kourtney from the very beginning. He knew just how to interact with her so she would laugh and stay engaged instead of shutdown. I love how the story reveals how similar their pasts are and how much they need each other. And I really enjoyed the humor throughout the story. Great story!

Story
The marriage is only supposed to be for show, but Archer can be very convincing. He's demanded we move in together. That we kiss. That we make it look—and feel—real. He's a man who is obsessed with getting what he wants—and I'm starting to think what he wants is me. The closer we get, and the less we pretend, the more I question if the grudges between our families are too much to overcome for a marriage that was built on pretty rings and broken things. Pretty Rings and Broken Things is a billionaire, arranged marriage romance.

I loved everything about this story. It was heartbreakingly sad while very engaging from start to finish. The struggles the Jews endured made it difficult to continue without lots of tissue but I couldn’t put it down. I love how good won over evil in the end and she got confirmation that her love wasn’t one sided after all.

I loved how much the main characters loved each other and knew each other so well even beyond death. She knew how much he would need her afterwards that she challenged him through her letters showing her true love for him and he honoring her wishes showing his true love for her. Have plenty of tissues for this one.
