Loved every minute of this story. I didn't want it to end! being an immigrant and forced to leave my life behind and startr anew, this book hits close to home. Thank you Isabel Allende for this amazing piece.

Easily one of my favorite books

The story is absolutely terrifying, written in exquisitely macabre detail, to me it feels so terrifying because is every bit as possible with this type of twisted minds already existing in the world. Very few books have made me have such a gutural physicalreaction on the edge of my seat in my commute, and I loved every minute of it. The narration conveys every single emotion in such sweet and pleasant voice. I cant give more stars, otherwise I would.
