Excellent and clever storyline. Ms. Judd continues to have Dallas persistently, cleverly and intriguingly pursue and discover the bad guy.

I know I enjoyed this first Jenna Alton and David Kane book the first time I read it because I’ve continued to read every book in the series since. What I did not expect was how it was like reading it for the first time again. I enjoyed it very much except I’ve become accustomed to Patricia Rodriguez’s narration so this narrator took getting used to.

Winter’s End is as riveting as her other books in the series. I am hoping book #9 is not the last. Please let it not be the last!

I can’t follow this new narrator. Please bring Lisette Lecat back. The characters sound cartoonish, especially M’Makutsi and Charlie and sometimes M’Maramostwe. This is unfortunate because this series is one of my favorites. I’ll need to quit this first round and try again later. Perhaps if I’m prepared for it.........

Mary Kay Andrews does not disappoint. This is her best novel ever! I hope there will be a sequel to Conley and the Beacon.

I wish the narrator spoke a bit faster. It was too slow for normal speed but a bit too fast for 1.25X speed. Story itself was entertaining.

Too bad the last book in the series was not performed by White. Pixie, Antonio and Angelica were just not the same. At times I couldn’t tell who was speaking. This surprised me since Campbell was the first narrator of this series.

Don’t bother listening to this book! Almost all the narrators sound agitated and exhausted! It was very difficult to listen to. I couldn’t follow the story line. I had to quit listening.
