sophomoric and juvenile and I can't get enough

listen, if you're easily offended these books aren't for you. but, if a good old fashioned fart joke makes your day, or if you are a true Connoisseur and Diarrhea makes you giggle like you are 10 again, this is your jam. not only do these books make me literally laugh out loud the Juxtaposition of the narrators narration voice, and his voice acting is something I can't get enough of. I know the author is having a hard time right now, but these books sure do make my day better, and I really hope to see a book 10.

Armed with nothing but his wits and a special item given to him by The System, he embarks on a damn good adventure.

I got this because of 1 review. they said this was unlike other rpg books out there. I agree. it's silly and fun, aimed towards adults but not crass. I genuinely laughed through most of this title.

I really didn't know what this story was about. I read the syopsis and thought "Oh, a retelling of the space race and the Cuban missile crisis? Ok". It quickly moves from one unbelievable situation to another. It just got dumber and dumber and dumber and dumber. The performance was good, it is the only reason I went forward with this car crash of a story (pun intended). Just so, so, SO stupid.

Story
While he's not quite a household name, most people would consider H. Jon Benjamin, the voice-actor star of Archer and Bob's Burgers (and a sentient can of mixed vegetables in 2015's Wet Hot American Summer) a comedy show business success. But he'd like to remind everyone that as great as success can be, failure is also an option. In a hilarious, self-deprecating memoir, Jon lays out some of his many failures in all areas of life, from Work ("wherein I'm unable to deliver a sizzling fajita") to Family ("wherein a trip to PF Chang's fractures a family").

the entirety of this book was entertaining and filled with funny stories that only h John Benjamin's dry wit can make funny. the above-mentioned chapter how I filled my rental car was listened in my car on my way home from work. I was laughing so hard I was crying and at one point I almost threw up I was laughing so hard. 10 out of 10 five stars would read again.
