Story
A road trip around the perimeter of the United States! It seemed like such a lovely idea, what could possibly go wrong? Recently widowed, Gemma, the chunky retired librarian, was dwelling in a cocoon of grief, isolation, and cookies, lots of cookies. She was stuck. She knew she needed to rebuild her life although she had no idea how to move forward without her beloved husband. But, her spunky best friend, Jo, was having none of it. Jo was determined to un-stuck Gemma, and she knew exactly how to do it. It would be tricky, though. This was going to require stealth and maybe a bit of deceit ...

Couldn’t even finish. I will try the book on Kindle. Voices were cracking. Pronunciation was AWFUL. Cheek was pronounced check. Many other words like that.
Computer generated voice ruined the entire book. I tried to tough it out because I love these kinds of books but the AI voice was awful. I couldn’t even finish it.
