Story
To the rest of the world, I'm broken. Unfixable. But when he looks at me, I know what he sees. A woman, not a doll. A fighter, not a victim. A survivor. Maybe, he sees underneath that. Maybe, just maybe, he sees what I was always born to be—a predator. They took my innocence from me. They stole my adolescence. Now I'm going to reap upon them what they sowed in me. Vengeance. This woman hasn't just been scorned... the hell I'll rain down upon them will look like child's play.

DNF… one of the male narrators were horrible
Reviewed: 03-06-24
I really liked the previous audiobooks in the series. One of male narrators in this book was the worst I have ever listened to.. I am not sure if it was J.F. Harding or Ryan Holden, but I can say I liked Hawk’s narration. I liked the way it was written until I could not listen to it any more. Overall I cannot truly give a complete review.

Story
He was my foster brother. He swore to protect me. He failed. They all failed. I’m an open box of passé photographs, snapped in chaste daylight, but filtered in sepia. I’m the past that he tried to forget, and he was the future I needed. When he left four years ago, I screamed for him every night. But then it all stopped. But he has come back. He’s not the cute big brother I had a furtive crush on, or the bad-boy rich brat that I hated to love. He’s the ruthless vice president of Wolf Pack MC, and he doesn’t answer to Royce Kane anymore. He answers to Sicko.

This is the first book I listened to by Amo Jones. I absolutely loved Sicko! The twists and turns were not what I really expected but GAH it was totally worth it. Now I am off to find another book to read by Amo Jones. I think I found a new favorite author!

Really? This was SAD and PATHETIC!!!

There is so much wrong with this audible book!! I am surprised it was ever published and offered as an option for Audible subscribers. Seriously? Aren't you making enough money to screen things before they are offered?
This story was not what I expected it to be. Yes, the story is on the Taboo side that it is what it supposed to give it an erotic twist.
The narrator sound like a kid having a difficult and uncomfortable time with the subject matter. Since the subject is Taboo and the narrator sounded so young it was just creepy and uncomfortable to listen to.
Not the only thing in life that matters is PLEASING A MAN... A WOMAN'S PLEASURE is equally important!!! Men need to learn and know how to please a woman. Some woman may like being treated this way. I on the other hand have my own needs to be satisfied as well.
I chose to READ/LISTEN to EROTICA to learn about things I would like to try in bad and real life.... Nothing ventured is nothing gained.
Taboo subjects can be sensual in their own right but it is not something most people would do. This is the tough side of wanting to learn about erotica and broach the Taboo angle of it. You need to do both carefully and cautiously. This Audible book will just give me nightmares I do not want to have.

Story
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The book.... it was awfull!
What was most disappointing about Colleen Hoover’s story?
I cannot believe this book was written by Colleen Hoover. She is one of the best author's out there. I have loved all of her other stories, but this was so bad.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Grace Grant and Deacon Lee ?
I have listened to other audiobooks narratored by these authors. I thiink the are great. However, with they did not stand a chance with this book because of the way it was written. Not their fault, the narrators still are great.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
This book made me angry. Tate let Miles walk all over her. I am a fan of angst love stories. Tortured individuals finding their HEA. I understand they were consenting adults but WTF. This was without fail one of the worst love stories I have ever heard. I have never listened to or read a book that was so self deprecating before. Disappointed? TOTALLY!!!
