Never tire of hearing about the great Lou.
So well written that I will listen again.
No better narrator than Edward Herrmann.
Perfect audio book in every way.
Even better if you love baseball.

The journey towards salvation is always a testimony that I rejoice to hear told.
A little too many details on the hotels and meals had by the author.

Excellent narration, well written and very well researched. Written by a lover of the sport of baseball.
I can't imagine loving it more even if I was a Red Sox fan.
Sorry it ended... I enjoyed the entire story.

The story is made all the better being read by Carrie Fisher. You can imagine her telling the story to you directly.

I liked parts of it and at the same time didn't other parts.
Especially did not like the big build to nothing.
This is just a story about a spiraling out of control alcoholic who came from a small town. Had talent and charisma, ended up at Sundance in an award winning film, lost it all and had a manhunt searching for him in the wilderness.
Performance was very good with exception for the foul language that just made the author sound like a teenager.

I was glad I read the other listeners reviews before I started this. They really helped. I liked the historical information provided by the author to fill in the unknown story of Audrey's experience during the war. I didn't like the performance and found her voice irritating. Possibly due to the complex names being read is why they chose her but eventually I was able to listen without thinking about that. I would read it a second time before listening to this again.

l really enjoyed this version of Peter Pan. All the cast was excellent and I was introduced for the first time to Rupert Everett in audio format and he is amazing. I loved the storyline where they added more interaction with Hook and Smee. Very funny. My next road trip with young kids I am going to put this on for them to enjoy.

AUDIBLE.COM please get us more Rupert Everett! In fact, if he had done any other audio books I would have immediately added them all to my wish list.

Before John E. Douglas, there was Robert Ressler. This book better explains, what and who came first in criminal profiling.

Although I have heard a lot more about John E. Douglas, having read and own his books, and seen him featured in film and television, I wish that I would have read this story first. Interesting in how the FBI developed and changed in the 1970's to 1980's. And Robert does a good job naming the names of the people who made it all happen.

And for those of you who probably think that he might sound egotistic, I disagree. John E. Douglas went out and became a media darling first, attracting the attention and being featured in films. I think Robert Ressler was not properly mentioned or featured in John E. Douglas books and given the credit due for his accomplishments.
