Story
What begins as a pleasant holiday with a new friend in Brighton quickly turns to devastation for Anabelle Milton when she receives the tragic news: her parents are dead. Turned out of the only home she’s ever known, Anabelle is sent to live with an aunt and uncle who are strangers to her. Heartbroken, she arrives at Bellingham Cottage, a cozy home on the sprawling grounds of the Bellingham estate, to find an unexpectedly warm welcome - not only from her own family but also from the family of their aristocratic neighbors, Lord and Lady Bellingham.

I enjoyed the descriptions of each character and the interactions Annabelle had with them. I would have liked more development of Annabelle and Peter’s courtship instead of the long delay in the last chapter to get them to open up about their feelings.

Story
Our unconscious thought patterns determine our relationships, our spiritual life, and our connection to God to a much greater extent than we know. That’s an alarming thought, because the subconscious mind is a mysterious realm that is really difficult to access and influence...right? No. It’s really not! And it’s the most urgent and impactful thing we can do. This book will show you how.

I enjoyed her life story and struggles that built faith and trust in the Lord. In some areas I lost track of the time frame she was speaking about in her life so I had to register to that part. I am going to put this kind of praying into practice!!

I enjoyed the development of relationships between the characters and the efforts each one took to preserve their own truths and clear up any misunderstandings! Oh how I wish people would take more time together to have those connecting conversations!! This story also told of the determination to have dreams and also the valuable benefit of having people/ family around to encourage and support, to fulfill the dream.
