really enjoyed the book. It felt just a bit opportunistic. like he wanted make use of the current revival in psychedelics or maybe his last book did exceptionally well. Or it could be the Corona crisis that makes it feel like this isn't really part 2 of how to change your mind.

realistic, no unbelievable plot devices or ridiculous artifacts, no ridiculous overly heroic. believable multi dimensional characters. this series had it all!

I love all his books but this one is even better. As are many I'm also deeply disappointed by the pace GRRM writes his books. Joe Abercrombie his works should've been translated into an HBO series as well...

it's like having a nuclear power plant in the 1800's. with that I mean Oscar who is a fully functional A.G.I Android so good as to fully deceive people for years.. The other tech in this world is similar to ours.. it
