After Steve Jobs was unceremoniously dismissed from Apple, he turned his attention to a little-known graphics art company that he owned called Pixar. One day, out of the blue, Jobs called Lawrence Levy, a Harvard-trained lawyer and Silicon Valley executive to whom he had never spoken before, in the hope of persuading Levy to help him get Pixar on the right track. What Levy found in Pixar was a company on the verge of failure. To Pixar and Beyond is the extraordinary story of what happened next.

This was a very interesting book on and gave insight into Pixar, Hollywood, Steve Jobs, Disney.....and then he went down a different path to end the book. If you stop at chapter 26 I would have recommended this book to everyone but then the author had to interject Buddhism and gave you the impression that he wrote the whole book to just indicate how a Buddhist life is the answer to all questions..well I guess this is one of the few books I will actually return.

Narrator trying to do to much
Reviewed: 02-07-18
I usually do not listen to apocalypse type books to often but this one seemed interesting. The over all story was not bad and pretty well written.
The narrator seems fine for the most part (first time I have heard him) but he is trying to do WAY TO MUCH with the different voices. I know some of these characters are supposed to be annoying but I am struggling to finish this book (and will probably not listen to the rest of the series) because the "voices" he is using are just grating and sound like a little kid trying to put on a play.
