I liked that it was set in the South, southern towns, customs and culture. Tasteful mystery, easy to listen to as you fall asleep.

Favorite Winnie the Pooh collection of stories for nights I cannot sleep. Very calming to listen to stories from childhood & all is right with the night!!

This book, while factually interesting, is also VERY tedious!! I debated about buying the short version of it but didn't want to miss anything important. However, I do think it should have been edited better & reduced by 1/3 of it's words as it was very redundant. I will be waiting to hear about the upcoming trial. Very interested in how this turns out!

I loved the Longmire TV series & didn't even consider reading the books until I bought one on sale. The writing is even better, the author's descriptions and observations of real life are so genuine. And the narrator is superb!! I must admit I pictured the characters from the TV series in my head as I listened to the book because I enjoyed them so much, but all of the characters are there! Vic, Ruby, Fergus and especially Walt and best friend Henry Standing Bear. The characters are so true to life. I'm going to have a tough time not "binge listening" to these; I want to buy them slowly and savor each one!

This is close to the greatest book I've read. Not only was it written & read but I learned some much about the Senate. College grad but not a poli sci major l learned a lot about how the Senate works AND it was written with just enoug humor to keep me very interested. He is highly intelligent and his previous occupation as pundit & comedian prepared him to be an excellent & very informed Senaror for MINNESSOTTA!

I bought this on sale, not having read the 1st book in the series. The description was a mystery involving Scotland Yard. But the book was very dark. So much so it wasn't clear to me if it was day or night. The events & details bordered on torture. I greatly enjoy mysteries and thrillers, but this was beyond my taste.

Story was not believable, writing sophomoric, depiction of psychiatrist and nurses were extremely unprofessional. Doesn't even fit in category of science fiction. Worst book in 6 years with Audible.

I chose this mystery based on the subject matter-- WWII, history and music that took place in Italy rather than Germany. I thoroughly enjoyed it & would recommend it to readers with similar interests!

I rarely dislike a book for being too long but this is much too long, too much description and most notably too much packed into one story. Unbelievable as historical fiction.

This short novella is quirky, fun and very different from Gabaldon's longer novels. I've read all of her work, this being the last until another novel comes and I love all of her work. But I liked this because it's different, with a little mysticism and a departure from her other wonderful work!!
