Classic tale read by an extremely skillful actress that made the story better than it already is.

This is a very interesting book connecting the present with events like Vige from movie number one and the eaner from Star Trek Enterprise. Robert Petkoff is unbelievably good at imitating the voices of the cast from the original series. I will buy more books narrated by him.

Nice story with a few plots developing in parallel involving basically every crew member. Excellent performance by the narrator.

I've always wanted to know more about the Obama family, and this book was what I needed.
Michele goes well into her childhood and into what happened before, during and after Barack was elected describing why things were done that way and carrying the right amount of emotions along the path.

Really nice story that combines a few things from the past with a lot of other things and brings nice Star Trek memories back. William Shatner reads it majestically and that gives the story an extra touch.

This book is written in a futuristic key and it depicts the US society: you cannot tell one of your colleagues that they look nice today, because that is sexual harassment but you are allowed to carry whatever weapon you will; there is a waiver for everything you do otherwise a legal sue will follow; and more of these. However the book is sometimes slow and, honestly, not the best I've come across. The narrator is quite good though.

The story was as I expected: adventurous, mystic and epic. A couple of words about the performance: one of the best I've heard in an audio book. It was just like being at the theatre, and that made it much more enjoyable. The actor that performed Jim was particularly skilled.

The first short-novel is really nice and I would say in King's classical style. The second is slightly lower in quality, but still nice.. The third is probably nice, but the narrator was so flat that I had to stop the listening twice. The forth and last short-novel is again nice. All in all an ok book that would have been much nicer with another narrator for the third one.

I chose this book primarily because it deals with dragon and magic and because the narrator is Scottish and gave the whole story a very special and charismatic touch. The book is nice, but a bit too slow in some parts: I would have preferred a bit more about the characters themselves, but all in all a nice story to hear.

In this second book we continue to follow the adventures and misadventures of Henry Plantagenet. The rhythm is really nice and Colin Morgan narrates the story majestically performing various voices and acting all the way through. The author is quite good at rendering the atmosphere of this late middle age period, and gives the story one extra gear.
I am now looking forward to read the third and last book of the trilogy.
