Artorian shrugged off moonfall and war like it was a gentle rain and must now face new trials. Specifically: life in the world created by the Dungeon Core, Cal. Unfortunately, Cal has only put together the most bare-bones of systems. He's no stranger to solving near impossible problems; how difficult could it be to smooth out the slew of angry Mages with bitter rivalries, uncountable hidden secrets, a complete inability to cultivate, and a Dungeon creating messes at full speed? One way or another, it is up to Artorian to pick up the pieces.

I do miss my necromancer but ill take anything that is in AO and this story was pretty good. Same flavor as the original series but from the perspective of a completely different personality with the new character. Kinda hope the author does one of these for each avatar. But still want more twilight throne

Story
They say family always sticks together, but when you're your dad's only lifeline and the whole world - humans, dragons, and gods - wants you dead, "family bonding" takes on a whole new meaning. My name is Opal Yong-ae, and I'm in way over my head. I thought getting rid of my dad's bad luck curse would put things back to normal. Instead, I'm stuck playing caretaker to the Great Dragon of Korea. That wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn't such a jerk, or if every dragon on the planet wasn't out to kill him, or if he was my only problem.

It was okay
Reviewed: 07-28-20
I've always enjoyed the sandman comic and was excited when it was going to be an audio book. But this production I found poor. I was expecting it to read more like a novel but instead it reads like you need to have the story in front of you and it assumes you already know what is happening in the story with very little description. So if you are not really familiar with the sandman story this is not for you. I also hated that in between every story it had this really annoying fan fare that would then say "the sandman". Like it was reminding the listeners what they were listening to. I know it's the sandman I bought the audio book and I don't need a narrator constantly checking in to remind me of that.

The story is good and deserves the five stars but the narration just crushes it. The badger is by far my favorite character because of how his voice is narrated to be so hilarious. The chapter when the badger gets stuck in his throne had my literally laughing out loud. I cannot wait for the next book. It's one of those novels that if you started the audio books you are gonna wait for the next audio book even if the book has been out for awhile. Please don't ever change the voice actor he is killing it with this book.
