Jim and his shoulder demon have survived everything the world has thrown at them. So far.
However, there is an encroaching war between two great kingdoms. In between the two armies stands an ever-growing town, led by a Noob.
With goblins, trolls, angry Wargs, and an expanding refugee crisis, will Jim and his companions manage to restore Windfall Valley or have they finally met their match?

It's weird to me that several of the reviews mention having issues about Jim mentioning his wife and kids after only a month? I've been pleasantly surprised that he's NOT following the stereotypical formula of every female fawning all over him and him just boning his way through a series of lackluster no personality throwaway women. But I'm female, so maybe not the typical target audience for litrpg. Take that as you will.
I'd also like to mention the fact that everybody who has an issue with Jim not knowing what's going on with Bashara either doesn't play D&D or when they do, they seriously metagame. He's failing his checks, why would he know anything? It's a game mechanic, not because he's stupid.
Fun Books!
