I'm a believer, not because I am religious, but because I believe the Bible has demonstrated itself to be true. This work helps me in that sense, but I'm very frustrated by people who present their work in this field. Because we tend to be believers when presenting this work, we slip back and forth between explaining what the evidence shows, and presenting the Bible's telling of the story AS FACT. That being the case, I don't know from this work whether we know from exta-biblical sources that Paul was changed by a presumed vision of Jesus, or if it's known merely from Paul and Luke's writings. This is because the author states it merely as fact that it happened, which is unhelpful. This happens many times throughout this work, which leaves you, the reader, to guess the level of evidence for these claims, the very thing you came to this work to receive.

The two authors read the stories and applications with enthusiasm. You'll remember the principles and be able to apply them in the moment. An easy and captivating listen.

An account of what is almost the entire length of Breitbart's career. Breitbart is an inspiring and informative writer, and his savage, burning disdain for the tactics of the Democrat Media Complex comes across well by the narrator. You'll learn a lot about how the media works from this book, and you'll be entertained in the meantime.

The Catholic church

Overall
3 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 02-25-17

I was hoping to get a book explaining the interaction of the early church fathers with the apostles, but that's not what this is. It's an explanation perhaps a defense, of the beliefs and structures of the Catholic church wherever it can be shoehorned into letters of antiquity. This book has all the scholarship one would expect from a work of Catholic literature.

Scalia has to have been the greatest legal author on the planet. I'm so glad he was also an honest constitutional conservative.

SLOW DOWN!!!

The Chinese speakers speak SO FAST that I had to slow the narration down to 0.75 just to be able to sometimes follow their pronunciations. Especially the male Chinese speaker, who sounded like he had to be somewhere. I found it so frustrating because I was told it was a half an hour per day, but if I was going to get through a lesson, it would be closer to an hour. Honestly, I learned and retained more from the a podcast because they slowly pronounce words, told you their literal meaning so it's not just random sounds, and it didn't cost $120.
