Story
After Crescent Thorn's failed attack on Blackfall Manor, things are finally calm enough to turn my attention back to Vohra and rebuild the underworld. But there are no shortage of fires to put out; enough problems both near and far that my fledgling empire might be in trouble before it begins. The one person who can hope to stem the tide is also my single biggest threat in this world. Jasper Ildan, the Jackal of Vohra, is the devil I don’t know, but when my back’s against the wall, even I’ll consider making a deal.

Story
Spensa’s life as a Defiant Defense Force pilot has been far from ordinary. She proved herself one of the best starfighters in the human enclave of Detritus, and she saved her people from extermination at the hands of the Krell - the enigmatic alien species that has been holding them captive for decades. What’s more, she traveled light-years from home as an undercover spy to infiltrate the Superiority, where she learned of the galaxy beyond her small planet home. Now, the Superiority - the governing galactic alliance bent on dominating all human life - has started a galaxy-wide war.

did not enjoy
Reviewed: 09-28-21
had a hard time getting through this I pushed to the end hoping somthing would spark my interest. I just felt like there was some commando yelling out made up amounts of rounds he could push down range I did not see or here any tactical movements plots. the humor was dull and felt pushed to hard to be crude. not a whole lot of background or character development either.

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Story
For those who reside in the outer regions of Aleria, the day of bestowal is what determines their destiny. It is the holy day of the Goddess. The day that allows those of age to step forward and receive their blessing, to embark on the path that she has chosen for them. To receive their Classification, which dictates their strength and ability. For those people, the holy day of bestowal represents fate itself. For Dante, it represents salvation.
