Story
One mystery, one romance, and a possessed raven. In the corridors of Singsong's Magical College, Gabriela the janitor's flesh began turning to stone. Why didn't anybody say that kissing gargoyles is a bad idea? Things are rocky enough, but then someone summons a malevolent demon on her shift in the school's library, and now he's stalking her. Gabby embarks on a desperate quest to locate her elusive father to save her from turning to stone while avoiding the demon, but she can't do it alone. She'll need the help of Percival Marigold, her arch nemesis, to navigate the balls and tea parties ...

AI narration was atrocious

The story was cute. All but the fmc characters were likable. I may have felt differently about her had I read the book vs listening to it. The AI narration was terrible.

Story
Charlotte McBee knows she’s in for a challenge when she accepts a job as midwife for a dragon and a phoenix shifter. Being a fairy herself, it isn’t the supernatural world that scares her. It’s the thought of delivering a giant metal dragon’s egg, which has her gritting her teeth in pain for poor Jillian, the anxious mother-to-be. While preparing for the big event, a handsome town resident catches her eye. Leonard is kind, charming, and a little bit mysterious. He’s also suffering from a highly unusual condition brought on by an ancient fairy curse.

Nice way to touch base w/ beloved bayou characters
Reviewed: 02-24-21
I enjoyed hearing about characters and a town I've grown to love. A story line was moved forward and a new lovable character was introduced. As always, Molly Harper had me laughing in a few places and getting misty-eyed too. The editing was rough in a place or two, rough transitions. This novella was free with my subscription but I would happily pay a credit for another full length bayou story.

Story
Garrett Daniels has this whole life thing figured out. The cocky, charismatic former high school star quarterback is an idolized football coach and "cool" teacher in the hometown where he's not just a golden boy - he's platinum. He has good friends, a great house on the lake, and the best damn sidekick a man could ask for: Snoopy, the albino beagle. Then...Callie Carpenter comes home.

Sweet Story Read by Outstanding Narrators

The narrators really make this sweet, often humorous love-story something special. Andi Arndt is her usual amazing self and Zachary Webber’s wide array of voices and emotions were so, so great. I would listen again just to hear Zachary read the coaches' “encouraging” sideline comments.
