If you enjoy the tales of King Arthur and Merlin the sorcerer and Camelot, then you will love this story from the unique perspective of Morgan, Arthur's devoted and much maligned half-sister, who eventually becomes Morgan Le Fay.

Both of the first two books in this trilogy are excellently written, intriguingly entertaining, and very well performed. I listened to them back to back in less than 48 hours. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I was this drawn in with an audiobook, and I'm was an avid listener.
The third book cant come out fast enough!

I loved every moment of this audiobook. Zara Ramm performs at the top of her game, as per usual. I truly hope that Jodi Taylor will continue with this brilliant St. Mary's spin-off in future novels. Such fun!

If you're a fan of Jasper Fforde or Jodi Taylor, you will likely enjoy this colorful sequel's quirky story of mystery, manners, murders, merits, and muddy tea. In his famously dry and humorous way, Fforde sends his characters down a self-repairing path of discovery full of adventure, love, and hope in the face of ridiculous political aspirations, questionable transportation, and a nefarious amounts of spoons.

Fun, funny, and fabulous! Markham is the narrator of this story full of homages to favorite St. Mary's and TP books A jaunty Christmas jump in pursuit of the perfect pie. What could be better?

The performances were fine, nothing incredible. Story takes a 3rd row backseat to identity politics, climate change propaganda, and gnostic agenda. Like them or not, these are frequent tropes of Sci-fi entertainment. However, in this audio production, the lack of a well-crafted plot or detailed character development leaves the listener with nothing to grab onto but a North American far-left diatribe.

I'm so happy that Miranda has books (plural) for us to enjoy because I finished watching her show and was really missing her jollity. It's lovely to hear her voice and you can easily imagine her face as she reads about her adult life now in comparison to her teenage life at school. Hilarious stories, bits of wisdom, heartfelt encouragement, and many lists gallop right off the page! Any Miranda fan will love this audiobook. If you've not met her yet, this book is a great way to start off. So grab a snack, a drink, and a comfy spot to enjoy while listening to Miranda Hart's "Is It Just Me?" You won't be sorry!

Jodi Taylor does it again, along with the impeccable Zara Ramm! This one has even more twists and turns than previous volumes as there are a lot of people and plots woven into a story which brings us a brand new adversary for Maxwell and her much varied associates. Still, Jodi Taylor lays it all out for us all delightfully tongue in cheek with exciting battles, improbable rescues, ridiculously brilliant plans, and plenty of Max, Markham, and margaritas. Pour yourself a big icy glass and tuck in for the adventure!

A heroine who is also a villain. A savior who is also a killer. A rich legacy that tears at its own heirs. Even the minor characters are fully fleshed out in all their glory and gore. A passionate and perverse tale of ambition, romance, deceit, magic, and power as brilliant as Macbeth. Read it with relish, then wonder at your own limitations later.
