Story
The title of this audiobook, Can I See Your Hands, refers to one of the key outcomes of this audiobook - being able to tell whether or not people want to cause us harm. To put it very simply, if you can see someone's hands and they are not concealing them, holding a weapon or positioning to strike you, one's levels of trust and confidence can increase. This simple example can serve as a reminder to all of us in many of the complex moments we have to deal with, and difficult decisions we have to make, in everyday life.

Hard eye roll

The information contained herein in great, but if we could get the info without the ridiculous anti-video game propaganda that would be great. The author even blames MMA for modern violence, it's like listening to my Grandma talk about self defense.
Too little practicum, too much conjecture.

my only complaint is Ralph's American accent makes me want to smash my head against the wall... but hey, still a great performance overall.

Most Christians already believe they should be telling others about Jesus, but traditional methods are no longer as effective in today's post-Christian world. Thus, we may become frustrated, blame ourselves, or simply give up. Evangelism in a Skeptical World: Audio Lectures equips Christians with the principles and skills needed to tell the unbelievable news about Jesus to friends in a skeptical world.

Excellent

It may be that I enjoy lectures anyway, but I found it excellent. I have had seminary classes in evangelism, and have studied preaching under Danny Akin and Jim Shaddix, and despite all of that I still found this lecture series informative and engaging.

Great book, great narrator.

My only complaint is that the reading was exceptionally slow, so much so that I could play it at 1.5x and it still sounded like normal speech.
