I’m on chapter 46 and I want to quit after Bob makes his 50th stupid decision. No one can be this dumb that’s a lawyer. So unbelievable that the story doesn’t make sense. He would know not to make certain choices as a trained attorney. Ugh!!!! I hate when writers get lazy.

I love the story and enjoy books by this author. This is the first time she’s used this narrator, and it was a bad decision. The narrator kept making swallowing noises into the microphone. It was a huge distraction away from the story, as everyone else has said.

Typical white girl book about wanting white privilege, a nanny, and staying “thin”. Such a walking cliche.
I would’ve loved to hear the story of her mom’s life as a single mom with that crazy son always pranking them or getting into trouble.
All this book talks about is her perfect life with her husband who didn’t leave. She even had the “perfect pregnancy”. 🙄

But one thing’s for sure: absolutely nothing is what it seems. The pair are far from normal, and one of them just may be a killer. When the body of a beautiful socialite is found hanging in a mansion in a nearby suburb, Simon and Vicky’s secrets begin to unravel. A secret whirlwind affair. Reviewed: 10-11-24
I really tried to give this book a try. I made it to chapter 13, but I just can’t anymore. The narration is so boring. I can’t even really follow the story because there’s too many characters. And it’s not enticing at all. Definitely not a page turner.

Not sure why every new book needs a gay child in the story
Reviewed: 07-25-24
Kinda over this need to throw a gay kid into every story or TV now. The story was already riddled with so many complicated stories and it is a good book.
I wish we could leave children sexuality out of adult stories.
