I liked all the characters and that I couldn’t guess the perpetrator. I like this narrator but her accent is more Scottish than Irish.

Female Narrator Gives Abysmal Performance
Reviewed: 08-29-21
Liked the plot and the characters. Liked the male narrator. Female narrator’s performance was abysmal. Her male voices sound scritchy; accents were way off and she didn’t even attempt a British accent for the British female character. I won’t be buying anymore audiobooks narrated by Lori Prince. Horrible job. Where was the editor, the producer?

for the narrator’s penchant for emphasizing the last syllable of words spoken by females and by males for whom English is a second language. I love Nicholas Boulton’s voice and ability to distinguish the differences of between characters and wish I didn’t notice his odd way of reading. Stella Riley’s writing is lovely and makes me feel immersed in her world. I always fall for her heroes and Lord Sar is no exception. The progression from liking to loving held my Interest. Her villain is understandably hateful. Overall, a satisfying and recommended listen and/or read.
