Story
I’m a big girl, “plus-sized”, whatever. I’m sick of hearing about it, especially since my doctor diagnosed me with PCOS. So when mean girl Merritt shot her mouth off about how fat people should just lose weight, I couldn’t take it anymore. And now I’ve got a huge problem. To prove curvy girls like me can get happily-ever-afters too, I have to get our school’s quarterback, Beckett Langley, to take me to homecoming. And he doesn’t know I even exist. But it’s not hopeless. Four other girls just like me are willing to help, because enough is enough.

So she'll suffer through her sister Dahlia's bachelorette party and accept the cloud of pity for going stag to the wedding. Out at the pub, sexy bad boy Mason Carlisle is a reluctant wingman tasked with entertaining Daisy while his brother flirts with her oldest sister, Daffodil. mixed feelings
Reviewed: 01-29-21
The book starts out with the hero being a jerk who tries to redeem himself by going along with Daisy's plan. Half of the book however is him sending her mixed signals that is he denies the attraction he feels towards her and instead of being an adult about it he lets her think she is inadequate. While he chastizes her for thinking too little of her self. Really I hate this type of trope. That being said he eventually gives into his feelings and they work things out. the narrator did a good job and the story was fairly entertaining if not predictable.

The narration is superb. The storyline is rich. The romance is heartwarming and the chemistry sizzling. This was my first historical romance. I read it a few years back and finally got the audiobook recently. I must say that Elizabeth Hoyt doesn't dissapoint.

cute and nice ending to the series

I liked it but I wish the author had expounded on other things. it all felt a bit rushed. The conflict at the end was low key anti climatic. Maybe it's just me but this book was so so. I enjoyed the epilogue though.

I went into this book thinking it was going to be a cliche story line with the handsome guy rescuing and falling in love with the plus size girl. However, as much as this was part of the story it wasn't the main point. The main characters had depth and they felt real. The hero wasn't some macho male but rather human and beautiful. The heroine was kickass and also vulnerable and beautiful. This was a great read. The narrator did a great job too.

as a big girl these are the types of stories you want to read about. This story was beautiful. I loved Heath and MJ together. I loved how the book was paced. Seeing their relationship develop from the beginning. I loved that there was no unecessary drama lama that was used as filler, instead the relationship between the two MCs was consistent throughout. The length of the book left me feeling satisfied. I know there is a sequel to this book, however even with this I am satisfied. I would highly recommend this book. The narrator also did a great job with the accents.

worth the credit!

This book was a good combo of sweet and sexy. Knight was an Uber alpha, but he genuinely cared about Anya. There was conflict but it didn't last long and was resolved relatively well. No unecesary drama. It explores some aspects of BDSM but not completely. Be warned however that Knight can be controlling and Anya yields to his demands. That can be a turn off but in the context of the book it makes total sense. Some things made me uncomfortable like the whole baby/daddy thing but hey, to each their own. In terms of explicit material this book is definitely heavy on the sex scenes, but it is a love story with typical KA material. It was worth a credit.

Blue Echohawk doesn't know who she is. She doesn't know her real name or when she was born. Abandoned at two and raised by a drifter, she didn't attend school until she was ten years old. At nineteen, when most kids her age are attending college or moving on with life, she is just a senior in high school. With no mother, no father, no faith, and no future, Blue Echohawk is a difficult student, to say the least.

It is rare that I write reviews but this book warranted one. It was an emotional rollercoaster but at the same time it was beautiful. I cried with blue and I loved seeing her grow through out the story and learn to love and open herself up to it. The narrator brought the story to life, she did an amazing job. This is a worthwhile read. It is a story that resonated with me and I am so glad I gave this book a try.
