Story
Dondi Dahlin shows us that we are all born with individual rhythms that go beyond the influence of our genes and upbringing. The five elements originated in ancient Chinese medicine over 2,000 years ago - when scholars theorized that the universe is composed of five forces: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. Understanding these elements helps us stay in balance physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

Interesting at times, but felt superficial compared to most of what I've read/learned concerning Chinese medicine and healing.

The important thing about this audiobook is that it speaks to the individual person. It speaks about health, but in light of the entire person. He speaks well and the audiobook flows well and all of the information should be relative to each individual person. It's an audiobook that could stand the test of time, no matter the scientific discovery. It's one of those rare books that take the listener by the hand and has a conversation with the listener.

The book is full of wonderful information and will provoke study for those who are interested in the gut brain connection, but the narration is robotic and incredibly hard to follow along with; It sounds like a computer program is reading the book.

It's a beautifully written, well read, and wonderfully researched book. The writers have a lot of experience and understanding and should be heard throughout the medical field.

The gland is the pineal - our body's natural timekeeper. The hormone is melatonin -- the pineal's messenger. The laboratory is headed by authors Drs. Pierpaoli and Regelson - who explain how to use melatonin to "reset" our biological clocks in order to live longer, healthier lives.

Story
Several years ago the author, cardiologist Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD, was asked to assist Hal Huggins, DDF, with a number of Dr. Huggins's dental patients. Each of the patients was quite ill and obviously suffering with one or more very serious medical conditions. Prior to sedating each patient, Dr. Huggins asked Dr. Levy to administer a specific protocol of vitamin C. Dr. Levy had never performed, or even heard of such a practice, but was greatly impressed as each patient left the dental office markedly improved - many were asymptomatic.

The amount of information crammed into such a short amount of time and in such an entertaining way is not usually the case. I'm very happy it was the case with this book. Very glad Amazon had a copy.
