Suhas Kshirsagar BAMS
About this listen
Discover the Ancient Science of Health, Vitality, and Happiness
The most enduring science of healing is founded on the principle of achieving balance between our body, mind, spirit, and environment. This science is called Ayurveda - a comprehensive approach to health and wellness that has been refined for 5,000 years. With Ayurvedic Wellness, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar presents an in-depth audio training program in the principles and practices of the "science of life."
In this six-session course, Dr. Kshirsagar offers practical instruction in cornerstone principles of Ayurveda - including diet, exercise, breathing, and meditation - to balance, heal, and transform your life.
Essential Tools for Self-Discovery and Self-Care
Ayurveda recognizes our lives as an integral whole, in which mind, body, and spirit are in constant communication. Dr. Kshirsagar teaches you the foundational tools of self-awareness to deepen your understanding of how every experience and decision in your life impacts your overall health. As you progress, surprising connections will emerge - you may suddenly recognize a link between your sleep habits and mood, discover how music affects your digestion, or reveal the emotional source behind unhealthy food cravings. Ayurveda gives you the means to clarify your personal health needs and create a wellness plan that is right for you. "In Ayurveda, well-being stems from awareness of one's own mind and body", teaches Dr. Kshirsagar. Now you can learn the key principles of this life-changing science for health, happiness, and self-discovery with Ayurvedic Wellness.

As a result, many of us have lost control over our health, weight, mood, and even behavior. With cutting-edge research, Dr. Davis connects the dots between gut health and modern ailments such as SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), a silent and profound epidemic, which affects one out of three people and is responsible for an astounding range of human health conditions.

Story
Yoga and Ayurveda together form a complete approach for optimal health, vitality, and higher awareness. Yoga & Ayurveda reveals to us the secret powers of the body, breath, senses, mind, and chakras. More importantly, it unfolds transformational methods to work on them through diet, herbs, asana, pranayama, and meditation. This is the first audiobook published in the West on these two extraordinary subjects and their interface. It has the power to change the lives of those who listen to and apply it.

I loved it!
Very interesting. Also, the narrator also has an easy listening voice. One you can refer back to again and again.

What to eat, for how you feel because its an Ayurvedic cookbook which coincides nicely
Have you listened to any of Suhas Kshirsagar BAMS’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

So many things, regarding learning your body type, and what to eat and when, with the bottom line of being more aware and mindful in life. This book has been life changing

Loved it!
Suhas gives an excellent introduction to Ayurveda and he is wonderful to listen to. I would recommend it to anyone curious about the subject. There is a downloadable PDF for further reading at soundstrue.com that I’ll be checking out next.

Best course I've taken on Ayrvedic wellness
I attended a seminar on Ayurveda back in 2012 and was impressed with the concepts presented. I had never heard about doshas before. This is a lecture series and it is very thorough. I actually enjoyed it more than the weekend seminar I had attended as well as the book by the person teaching the seminar. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Ayurveda.

It doesn't matter who you are.. please listen..
The important thing about this audiobook is that it speaks to the individual person. It speaks about health, but in light of the entire person. He speaks well and the audiobook flows well and all of the information should be relative to each individual person. It's an audiobook that could stand the test of time, no matter the scientific discovery. It's one of those rare books that take the listener by the hand and has a conversation with the listener.
