Story
On a scorching September day in 1942, the Special Air Service (SAS), a special forces unit of the British Army, pulled off one of the most daring, top-secret ruses of the Second World War. The plan (sanctioned by Churchill): cover a grueling 2,000 miles of the Sahara desert to attack German general Erwin Rommel's seemingly impregnable port fortress in North Africa from the rear to break free and arm more than 30,000 Allied POWs.

Carefully organized from creation of a concept of desert warfare to the successful campaigns, it narrates the development and challenges, growing into a legionary fighting group that exists in secret. Great read and well documented.

Concept good, but in reality this storyline is more like a script than a book version. Still it’s not bad, just different. Enjoyed the pace and outcome

Bikers, con artists, drunk drivers, drug dealers - they're all on Mickey Haller's client list. For him, the law is rarely about guilt or innocence; it's about negotiation and manipulation. Sometimes it's even about justice.

Good storyline, because t early storing moved through action points quickly building key foundations to trigger micro climaxes without extensive non-essential details going to the n-th degree. I would have shortened those areas and expanded on one last effort to take on the offshore group.
But still stayed engage til the end. I give it a 8/10 rating and encourage a little more detail editing that sets links to come vs detain that is not essential. Still a committed reader and fan.

Rugged tail of family ties, disappointment and challenge
Reviewed: 05-09-22
Well written with a good mix of deception, lies, death and discovery.
Mixed among the story line is the Canadian frontier where the rugged terrain, snowbound winters help to spin a solid storyline. Having lived in the area, the descriptions of community, weather and challenges to everyone living in the region is soundly based in reality. You will not be disappointed.

Story
Reacher goes where he wants, when he wants. That morning he was heading west, walking under the merciless desert sun — until he comes upon a curious scene. A Jeep has crashed into the only tree for miles around. A woman is slumped over the wheel. Dead? No, nothing is what it seems. The woman is Michaela Fenton, an army veteran turned FBI agent trying to find her twin brother, who might be mixed up with some dangerous people. Most of them would rather die than betray their terrifying leader.

Slowly gets you hooked
Reviewed: 11-16-21
Starts out slower than usual, but gets you hooked. Several stages of climax’s that keep weaving the tightening storyline to the end point. The FBI, a Kidnapping or two, a Bomb, something is amiss and Reacher see the missing items that saves the day. The double authorship has a different flow, but still to be enjoyed. Overall, I rate the audiobook performance a 5, but the writing a 4. Still worth the read, it’s worth it.

Story
Can a young war correspondent find herself and follow her heart? In this work of historical fiction, 20-something Annabella “Annie” March arrives in France in 1944 intending to write about the war. Soon, however, Annie begins to distance herself from her sometimes-mentor, sometimes-rival - the great Martha Gellhorn - and Gellhorn’s larger-than-life husband, the novelist Ernest Hemingway. She turns to photography in the hopes of making her own name and, to her delight, discovers that images come more easily than words.

War, Life, Time and Bullets can’t go backwards
Reviewed: 04-13-21
Some face life easily and move with purpose. This story weaves them together in a way each come to life, lives for the moment in time the world was far from reality, where life’s discoveries are both human and overtaken by the moments in War. Yet, no one can pull moments of time back or forget. Written and interwoven, events, lives and hope all come together around a bullet. Well told, you will find the staged climaxes grow and become intertwined, the end unexpected. Enjoyed it on a long drive across our great country. Enjoy
