It should be a no-brainer for me to grab the nearest weapon and start slaying bloodthirsty goblins, gaining levels, solving puzzles, and fighting my way to the top of a mysterious tower with seven distinct floors. Technically, I was born for this. Or so I thought. Unlike actual video games, if someone dies here in Genera, they die here for good. And I don't want to die.

This book literally has everything I wanted in a LitRPG, including being able to help shape the story! 10/10 gonna hodl these tokens and memories for life!

From the moment Cameron drops onto the island, he must fight, kill, and grow in power if he wants to go home. Too bad 999 others need to reach the same goal. Cameron needs to learn what it takes to overcome the deadly obstacles laid before him.

This book has so much to offer, it made me laugh, cry, shout out, and write this review!
There are so many great side characters that have hints of real world celebrities. This may be my favorite book of the year, but it also is easily my top ten books of the decade. It started off with a few eye rolls from me, the premise not being super original, but that changed real quick. It has something for just about any listener. Drama, comedy, suspense, and of course it’s own brew of mythical creatures! If you listen to all of this, and still don’t like it in the end... then you probably don’t like anything. Patiently awaiting a sequel!

I have listened and read a ton of litrpg, and this is hands down one of those titles that increased that love. Eli has a wonderful backstory, that twists into something I did not expect. Don is a lovable character, that I hope to see throughout the rest of the series! Awesome narration! It kept me immersed into the story despite having to listen throughout a few days I felt like I was right back into it as soon as I hit play!

It was exactly what I expected from a lit rpg with a couple of unique twists! The Mc Jack was very relatable, and the antagonist ending was something most readers will probably expect from the subtle hints, but was well done despite that fact! The one thing that stood out for me to give it five stars is Que, and the amazing voice acting that came with him!
