You interview a potential new employee who has the résumé to do the job, but something tells you not to offer the position. Not believable

It's sad when someone attempts to write about Christianity and not only doesn't know the facts but then combines Christianity with Catholism. They are not the same. Catholics, Christians and Muslims do not worship the same God. The writer said Abraham lived into his 100's which is incorrect, Abraham lived into his 900's. Having a child in his 100's would be nothing. I can't tell if the writer has something against Christianity, or religion. I had to stop because it was just pure foolishness. There is so much evidence for the Bible, not only in written texts, more than any other written account in antiquity, but the archeological evidence and the non biblical historical accounts written by unbelievers of Jesus. More than 500 people saw Jesus at the same time after His resresurrection, that's something. The narrator has always been a favorite of mine. He does such a fantastic job at brining characters to life.

The narration on this one is terrible. I had to speed up the audio to get thru it faster. The guy has almost a sing-song voice and talks too slow thru most of the book. It's sad because the story itself is great!

I so love these books, and although it felt a little rushed and cram packed, I so do hope she'll write another 5 books in order to tie it all up. Some of the voices didn't quite match up from previous books, but the narration is always amazing! Thank you so much and I'm eagerly awaiting the next one.

Most people - even people of faith - do not understand how the Bible fits together. Too many Christians accept half an inheritance, content to embrace merely the New Testament, while Jewish people may often experience the same by embracing only the Old Testament. But God has an intricate plan and purpose for both the Old and the New. In Mysteries of the Messiah, Rabbi Jason Sobel reveals the many connections in Scripture hidden in plain sight. Known for his emphatic declaration “but there’s more!” he guides us in seeing the passion and purpose of the Messiah.

In this compilation of the five books in the best-selling Lineage of Grace series by Francine Rivers, we meet the five women whom God chose - Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary. Each was faced with extraordinary - even scandalous - challenges. Each took great personal risk to fulfill her calling. Each was destined to play a key role in the lineage of Jesus Christ, the savior of the World.

Oh, man!
Reviewed: 09-17-19
I am a huge fan of Francine Rivers. Her books are beautifully written and encourage the reader to walk with the characters of her books.
The narration of this book is horrendous. The miss-pronunciation of words, audibly hearing the narrator clearing her throat, silly accents that come and go, the list is too great.
It saddens my heart that this beautifully written work wasn't given the due it deserves. I hope you can sit thru the cringing narration and listen the stories.
I am praying this will be redone by someone better in the near future. Oh, man!

So...you'd think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark's life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break. Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang. Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions.

Narration
Reviewed: 05-15-19
In my opinion, having different narrators for three series is frustrating. This narrator didn't seem to make an effort to really get into the characters. It is hard to listen to the book. There is also background noise when she talks. Like there is a TV, or bunch of guys talking and her mic picks it up. I can hear it when she talks. It is very annoying. I think I actually heard someone sneeze.

Story
The messages waiting for Henry Pierce when he plugs in his new phone clearly aren't intended for him. They indicate something has gone terribly wrong for a woman named Lilly. Pierce probes, investigates, and then tumbles through a hole, leaving behind a life driven by work to track down and help a woman he's never met. Connelly's latest is "a grabber from the beginning...utterly compelling."

Amazing story, bad narration
Reviewed: 11-06-17
I am a huge fan of Connelly's books. I am so disappointed in the choice of the narrator. The narrator is so soft spoken, breathy and feminine it is like nails on a chalk board. He reads the protagonist the same as the female characters. It was hard to listen to and get thru. I hope in the future this guy won't narrate any more of Connelly's books. I don't think I would purchase it. The story is a hit, just like all of Connelly's other books. I don't want to discourage anyone from listening to this book, I am just giving a warning. I hope you can get thru this better than I did.

I really enjoy Baldacci books however, the narrator on this one is bad. His voice is so soft all the time it grates. Everyone sounds the same and the first sentence he uttered I knew it was going to be a long book. I wanted to finish it, but it was difficult! Good luck with this one.
