The characters are well established. They're very detailed and it makes you want to hear more about what's going on. you really have to start at the beginning and listen to all four books. But once you have you'll be hooked.

I am a newbie when it comes to Wheel of Time series. I've heard for a long time how this series was really good but it is not until now that I've actually had the time to listen to it. Robert Jordan is very good at painting of beautiful picture of what his characters alike and his unique world. I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!
