Story
For over 30 years, Dominion of Blades has been the hottest online role-playing game in the world. But the game is too real for some, and after an epidemic of real-life fatalities, public use of the immersion technology has been banned. Jonah wakes to find himself in-game, level one, with no memory of how he arrived and no way to eject. With only two companions, trapped in a world that once hosted millions, Jonah must battle his way across a treacherous landscape, fighting virtual monsters, all too real pain, and a very human enemy.

PC Agenda
Reviewed: 07-12-23
I Love the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Half way through this book it turns to the PC agenda. I want to listen to a good story without an agenda. I think that most people do since the movies and books that do well are the ones that are not PC. I bought both books because I am enjoying Dungeon Crawler Carl series and now I am stuck with them because I didn't buy them with credits. I am VERY DISAPOINTED WITH AUDIBLE and their current return policy. I am Audible Plus and listen to Many books. I rarely return books. I imagine that some listeners were abusing Audible's past return policy, but I wasn't one of them. I didn't buy these books with credits because they were not that expensive, I will choosing my books more cautiously.

Should of kept Bronson Pinchot as narrator.
Reviewed: 10-20-21
Should of kept Bronson Pinchot as narrator. The full cast and sound effects has the story come off as a old fashion porn. The voice for Jake comes off as a slick cat daddy, not a heavy. I could not finish, very disappointed.

Story
So you may ask, who is Adam Connor? He is the recently divorced, Academy Award-winning actor who just moved in next door with his kid. He also happens to be an exquisite male specimen and the most infuriating sly bastard I've ever come across. While I was being thoughtful by not breaking and entering, and was actually considering going over to offer him a shoulder to cry on (you know, because of his divorce), instead he had me thrown in jail after a small incident. Jail, people!

THE CHARACTERS ACTUALLY COMMUNICATE WITH ONE ANOTH
Reviewed: 11-18-19
The characters actually communicate with one another. They don't go down the crazy rollercoaster of believing everything thrown their way without speaking to one another. I fell in love with Ella Maise's fun and well built up character. I hope that you will enjoy the book as much as I did.

Sci-fi fantasy books have a lot of action. Many of them don't have comic relief without the cariture or caritures becoming one note. The main cariture Prince Jalan is a complex coward. "Confused", listen to the series and you will understand.

ACTION, HUMOR, AND A FANOMINA NARRATOR
Reviewed: 06-06-19
I can not wait to listen to book 2, in fact I will be purchasing it now. The richness of the caritures , combined with a sense of humor, has you wanting for more. The story will keep you ingaged with a fantastic story and a fanomina narrator. If you have ever listen to Tim Gerard Reynolds , you already know this. There's is plenty of action, but the personality of the caritures is what will keep the reader ingaged. I highly recommend this book.

The Heir of Novron was a fantastic finish of the trilogy. Michael J. Sullivan keeps the reader engaged with Royce ,Hadrian , and all the characters, and with a touch of humor for a finishing touch. The way the ending was wrapped up, I was completely satisfied, like having the last bite at the end of a perfect meal. This does not mean that I don't look forward to reading more adventures of Mr. Sullivan's characters. Michael J Sullivan's books will be a automatic purchase for me.
