This was a classic love story and a very easy read. The story line was predictable but sweet. The details are clear and well written. You felt almost as if you were visually present. The two narrators did an amazing job.

I kept listening and waiting for something to happen. The book has a great concept and she’s a good writer but, it is flowing too slow. I feel it has a big ahh ha moment but the rest of time, it was just dragging. Can’t say I totally dislike the book, it just wasn’t flowing well for me.

I have nothing but good things to say about this book - the characters are well written and developed. You get to know the variations of friendship between women. Women that actually get along and love each other. It’s about life and in some parts it’s from the lens of a small child. It’s the relationship of a mother and child and the most important times of influence. I loved this book. I lost sleep staying awake for the various jaw drops. Easy read. 💕5 ⭐️

I loved the book. Great story line and well developed characters. My only drawback is I generally listen to my books with ear phones when out and about and out loud at home. Sometimes even thru the Alexa- but this was so saucy that my advice is use your ear phones! I blushed just wondering if anyone else could hear when my ear phones were in. 😳

Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

We all have forever ties! Eye opening
Reviewed: 03-31-24
This book was so eye opening and meaningful for me. I found the scriptures so comforting. The book touched on more than one soul tie in our lives. We often think it’s only during a sexual relationship that we create soul ties, when that connection can actually ruin a true soul tie. There are soul ties between in laws and our own siblings. There are connections that we share in various forms of our lives that deeply connect and impact our lives. The book has many turns and things change rapidly. I would have only liked to see the relationship between the family. Meaning the daughters with their parents. Still this is one of the best books I read this year. 9/10.
