Story
Now reduced to a schoolyard chant, the Hope family murders shocked the Maine coast one bloody night in 1929. While most people assume seventeen-year-old Lenora was responsible, the police were never able to prove it. Other than her denial after the killings, she has never spoken publicly about that night, nor has she set foot outside Hope’s End, the cliffside mansion where the massacre occurred.

Story
On a backstreet in Tokyo lies a pawnshop, but not everyone can find it. Most will see a cozy ramen restaurant. And only the chosen ones—those who are lost—will find a place to pawn their life choices and deepest regrets. Hana Ishikawa wakes on her first morning as the pawnshop’s new owner to find it ransacked, the shop’s most precious acquisition stolen, and her father missing. And then into the shop stumbles a charming stranger, quite unlike its other customers, for he offers help instead of seeking it.

Story
At first, it looks like a disease. An epidemic that spreads through no known means, driving its victims mad with memories of a life they never lived. But the force that’s sweeping the world is no pathogen. It’s just the first shock wave, unleashed by a stunning discovery - and what’s in jeopardy is not our minds but the very fabric of time itself. In New York City, Detective Barry Sutton is closing in on the truth - and in a remote laboratory, neuroscientist Helena Smith is unaware that she alone holds the key to this mystery...and the tools for fighting back.

Amazing Story but alot of cussing

Amazing story! Unquie and intriguing! It constantly pulled you in, never a dull moment. my only issue was all the cussing, the F word was used in just about every sentence! Very raunchy in alot of scenes, but if you dont mind all that i recommend this book! his writing is so brilliant! i just have to renew my soul now bc of all the cussing lol

Story
The world outside has grown toxic, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. The remnants of humanity live underground in a single silo. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they want: They are allowed to go outside.

the story overall was fine, i feel like the author could have really taken this story and done something interesting with it. i feel like she may have taken the easy way out towards the ending. it was one of those books that i had my hope way to high and it was just mediocre. it wrapped up, but it was nothing to remember.

I didn't enjoy this book like i did the First book. All the characters were just whiney. There was also alot of jumping around, which made me feel disengaged about a a third of the way through. It felt a bit messy and all over the place. And there was a lack of imagery compared to the 1st book.
