Disappointing

The story line is very good. The author's style is also good. But the book has this annoying futuristic thread that, frankly, distracts from the story. This book would be outstanding if the author loses the futuristic thread and writes it as a novel setting in the present day.

This book is spell binding. Though it is 14 hours in length, there is no redundancy. You hang on every "page". The end, however, is somewhat predictable! No surprise there. This is, none the less, a must read.

A little difficult to get into. Lots of "I said", "Susan said", "I said", "She said", "he said". Very annoying for first few chapters. You either get used to it, or settle into it and don't notice after a few chapters. Story line is great. Couldn't wait to listen to next chapter.

You've seen him on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart offering up his trademark angry observational humor on everything from politics to pop culture. You've seen his energetic stand-up performances on HBO, Comedy Central, and in venues across the globe. Now Lewis Black's volcanic eruptions can be found in Nothing's Sacred, a collection of rants against stupidity and authority, which oftentimes go hand in hand.

Though I have always been a fan of Lewis Black, this book was disappointing. It is marginally/occasionally funny, but often stupid, and boring to listen to. I do not recommend this book.
