Good storyline with an interesting twist

I like the characters and the overall storyline, however, the sexual tension between the two main characters was just not needed for the story at all. I think it was more of a detractor than an asset.

Story
Sir Phillip knew that Eloise Bridgerton was a spinster, and so he'd proposed, figuring that she'd be homely and unassuming, and more than a little desperate for an offer of marriage. Except...she wasn't. The beautiful woman on his doorstep was anything but quiet, and when she stopped talking long enough to close her mouth, all he wanted to do was kiss her... and more. Did he think she was mad?

As with all the Bridgerton books, they’re absolutely brilliant!

I didn’t really dislike anything other than my usual frustration with Eloise being a pain in the butt, but that’s just who she is.

Story
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

A Book should not end "To Be Continued"
Reviewed: 10-02-18
As in all of his previous books I loved the story, the characters are so rich and the story teller brings them to life, but I prefer my stories to have a beginning, middle and an end. This one didn't do that and left me hanging. I don't know if this was the publishers decision of the authors but I don't recommend it for future stories.
