I quit this book after about 3 1/2 hours of listening (130 pages), I just could not take it anymore. The characters were insufferable and their problems weren't problems. They were entitled rich people, worries about their image.

While not the best book in the series. It was a solid wrap up. I think the title character could have been more developed. The story was WAY to long, unnecessarily long.
Loved the narration, she certainly gave a lot of flare to each character.

This book was SO boring! Nothing thrilling about it. The 'twists' were predictable and not that exciting. None of the characters were likeable. I didn't feel like there was a big reveal/climax at all. It all felt very meh to me.

I did not enjoy this book at all. I was expecting great things, after all the raving reviews. Nothing really happened for the majority of the novel, and I felt like the end was just a gimmick for shock value. That REALLY annoyed me.
I liked the narrator though. She did a good job. Although sometimes I couldn't decipher who was actually speaking, she didn't change her range enough. But over all she was good.

But when Parker's boyfriend dumps her out of the blue, she starts to wonder about Ben's no-strings-attached approach to dating. The trouble is, even with Ben as her wingman, Parker can't seem to get the hang of casual sex - until she tries it with him.

Something went wrong here. A lot wrong. I'm pretty disappointed. The story was meh, the narration was meh- I usually really like Sebastian York and Grace Grant. They've done great in the previous novels. I guess my biggest hang up was that Pippa was British and Grace is not, and her accent was terrible. It really took away from the feel.
It just wasn't a very good story and I'm sad this is how it's ending.

Story
Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual. Trapped in a shared office together 40 (ok, 50 or 60) hours a week, they've become entrenched in an addictive, ridiculous never-ending game of one-upmanship.
