Story
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

I hated the premise, but it's extremely well executed.

Seriously? What an awful story premise: gamed planet annilation. But it's written and performed such that one can sympathize with both the protagonists and antagonists of all species, except the corporations. It's written such that the gruesome aspects are humorous despite the listeners finding it mwaningless. What would each of us do to survive? How would we treat those around us, both human and monster. What makes us human, animal, or monster? Enjoy.

Story
Well, this year, after the Spring Planting season, I’m really gonna relax and put down roots. It’s the slow life for me. Sure, the talking animals and cultivators coming to live with me are a bit weird, but this year everything is gonna be basically normal. There definitely won’t be any Heavenly Tribulations, ancient formations, or cultivator issues to deal with . . .

An odd tale of the power of kindness.
Reviewed: 12-08-24
The theme of strength in kindness rings hopeful and is simple, rolicking fun. The characters are lively and their stories, while utter fantasy, are believable.
