Story
Every day without fail, Travis Devine puts on a cheap suit, grabs his faux-leather briefcase, and boards the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the city’s most prestigious investment firm. In the mornings, he gazes out the train window at the lavish homes of the uberwealthy, dreaming about joining their ranks. In the evenings, he listens to the fiscal news on his phone, already preparing for the next grueling day in the cutthroat realm of finance. Then one morning Devine’s tedious routine is shattered by an anonymous email: She is dead.

What garbage. Sounds like it was written by a 12 year old. It is so bad, you might just need to hear it to understand how bad it is.

On the right side of the law. Sort of. Sebastian Rudd is not your typical street lawyer. He works out of a customized bulletproof van, complete with Wi-Fi, a bar, a small fridge, fine leather chairs, a hidden gun compartment, and a heavily armed driver. He has no firm, no partners, no associates, and only one employee: his driver, who's also his bodyguard, law clerk, confidant, and golf caddy.

I read the reviews that said narrator was awful and still bought it. Big mistake. He's just awful.
Would you be willing to try another one of Michael Prichard’s performances?
Never again.
What character would you cut from Without Remorse?
Just the narrator.

How can a narrator keep mispronouncing words? I keep thinking 'he can put the emp fah sis on the wrong sil ah bull'
Reviewed: 05-14-16
Story was decent. Pleasantly surprised with transition of authors. I did not have high hopes after Vince's passing. Thought he would have taken Mitch Rapp with him. As it turns out, he graciously left Mitch behind and may have taken Lee Child. Forgive me but 'll take every opportunity to let people know just had bad Lee Child and his Jack Reacher series has become. If you told me Child stopped writing books 10 years ago, you wouldn't surprise me.
But doesn't anybody think they ought to tell a man who makes a living reading books out loud that he consistently mispronounces a number of words?
Quasi and short lived stand out in my mind as I write this.

Although he seems to borrow heavily from the Mitch Rapp series. Fails miserably. After Vince passed away, I really wanted to like these books. I don't. Personally, I Cannot believe he hasn't ever been sued. The series feels like a copy, a bad copy.

Reviewed: 05-02-16
Lee Child did. Another lousy effort. He's had a run of mediocre at best books starting with Bad Luck and Trouble. That's about 8-9 losers in a row.
Cruise was decent as Reacher although he doesn't have the build. He did great considering.
