Story
Against all odds, former geneticist Benny White has survived the first Wave of the Game of Souls. But the rewards have come at a cost, and the games are far from over. New enemies have been introduced with eyes set on those calling the Blackstone Keep home. Not only do the contestants have to struggle against the Arketh-Takshi—a group of intergalactic vampiric pirates residing within scattered portals—but also with private outworlder factions whose motivations are anything but clear. Not to mention some threats that originate a little closer to home.

The unique switch ups

It’s been an blast with all the progression, character development, crazy twists and more. It’s been a pleasure to listen to this series and I hope the story continues like “he who fights monsters” or “primal hunter” in using these references because that’s how much I want this to succeed.

Amazing potential and original work

The concept of a person entering a VR game well beyond our years but limiting the brains functions to actually play as a resident of the game. And the potential idea that the person who enter the game may develop a split personality or an AI accidentally through their own consciousness. I’m loving the system of evolution and skills. It’s sooooo goooooood!!!

His injured leg tells him his days of fighting are over. When a dark portal opens in his village’s main square and orcs stream through it, slaughtering his neighbors and setting everything on fire, it brings with it a second chance. A soldier of light appears and grants Calder a weapon stone so he can help fight against the forces of darkness.

It’s amazing how they incorporated a sense of inferiority into the main character which isn’t true but in his current circumstances it’s true. Great job!

This book was simply a masterpiece. Great pacing, excellent character development, interesting storyline, and more!!! If I had one issue with it. It would be that he didn’t explore all his magic to its full potential. But literally I’m not even mad about it. That’s how good it is. It’s among my favorites now.

The power system is very interesting!!
Reviewed: 02-06-25
Since the main character double down on his dungeon lord class it’s been about new abilities for his dungeon and its development. But the idea of selecting another path to merge both to increase power and most importantly versatility. Brilliant idea for the future stories!!!

It’s an amazing series so far. I have some issues with the main characters morality at the beginning of this series but it’s changing slowly. I like that character development. Keep it up!!!

It’s amazing with one personal issue
Reviewed: 01-16-25
I love the story. The action, character development and the world design. My only slight with it is the morality aspect. I know it’s supposed to further enhance the character development. But it’s hypocritical for the main character to have these lofty ideals while himself enacts them. His morality is flawed.
