Story
In Suzanne Palmieri's thrilling novel The Witch of Belladonna Bay, Bronwyn is forced to return home to Magnolia Creek, Alabama - a place she hasn't been since her mother, Naomi, died 14 years earlier - and the troubled family she left behind. With her brother Patrick behind bars for the murder of her childhood friend and her eccentric father, Jackson, at wit's end with her 11-year-old niece, Byrd, Bronwyn finds herself back at her childhood home, the Big House, and surrounded by ancient Magnolia trees dripping with Spanish moss.

What made the experience of listening to The Witch of Belladonna Bay the most enjoyable?
Great characters in this one, and the story was a nice change of pace from the usual scenarios in these kinds of books. I will listen to this one as well as The Witch Of Little Italy again.

Any additional comments?
I fell in love with this book and listen to it every couple of years. It reminds me of the way The Chronicles of Narnia made me feel when I was a kid. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I found myself thinking of the game more as a way of life as the book continued

Story
Crossover sensation Melissa de la Cruz created an instant New York Times best seller with the inventive Witches of East End. In this follow-up, everything is going smoothly in North Hampton now that Joanna and her daughters, Ingrid and Freya, are allowed to perform magic again. But chaos erupts with the arrival of Freya’s twin brother, Freddie, who’s finally escaped from Limbo. And Freddie’s convinced that Freya’s fiancé, Killian Gardiner, is the one who landed him there in the first place.

If you could sum up The Serpent's Kiss in three words, what would they be?
I first got The Witches of East End out of curiosity because I live on Long Island and I really enjoyed it. So I followed up with this second book and wasn't dissappointed. Good story, lots of interesting characters.
What about Katie R. Schorr’s performance did you like?
Katie has a pure tone. Intellegent, but also down to earth.

I enjoyed this book. It's not the kind of book I typically read but I was looking for something different and was surprised.

It's a little too on the romantic side for me. But the characters are interesting and there's magic every where.

Story
Three stylish vampires arrive in New Orleans just in time for Mardis Gras, and then disappear again. While in the city, the group's leader, Zillah, meets and impregnates an adolescent girl. Fifteen years later, the child of that pairing, a boy who calls himself simply "Nothing" is living with adoptive parents in the suburbs, where he – like so many other teens – feels isolated and out of place. The answer is, his father is a vampire, leaving Nothing hovering precariously between worlds.

Ghost is my favorite character.

Great book. I highly recommend it. Beautiful language, very dark and capturing.

Story
In Christopher Moore's ingenious debut novel, we meet one of the most memorably mismatched pairs in the annals of literature. The good-looking one is one-hundred-year-old ex-seminarian and "roads" scholar Travis O'Hearn. The green one is Catch, a demon with a nasty habit of eating most of the people he meets.
