I so enjoyed this book. I listen to my books at bedtime, this one kept me awake rather than putting me to sleep. :)
I just couldn’t stop listening. Of course Susan Erickson is hard to beat as a Narrator.
I highly recommend this book.

It took me a couple chapters before I was able to figure out who the characters were but once I did, I couldn’t stop listening.
The narrator was just amazing and I could just picture the character when they were talking.
I highly recommend this book and this author.

Just a light hearted little book! Enjoyed it thoroughly. The narrator was absolutely excellent. I don’t know how she could keep all the characters apart & sounding so different. There were parts that I literally laughed out loud.
I’m looking forward to starting Sleigh Bells, the next book in the series.

The story line was compelling. Not a bedtime listen. I found out the hard way. I couldn’t stop listening.
There were times it would pull me in and make me angry that they were treating the parents the way they were.
The narrator was a little difficult for me to listen to at first. Couldn’t tell who was who, even the women or children sounded like men. I got used to it or he got better, but he was fine after I adjusted.
Overall a good choice for a thriller.

Took a little bit of time to really get into it, but I use my books at bedtime so sometimes I fall asleep & then have to go back a little. But once I got into it, really had a hard time not listening. The narration was excellent in my opinion. It was an emotional story for me and I wasn’t expecting that, but it was.
I think the author did a great job with the writing too, although there were a couple times I just wanted it to get to the moment instead of being in the past.
I give this book 5 stars all the way around.
